I’m Luis Gustavo Bugallo, a software architecture and engineering leader based in Portugal.
Across more than 35 years in technology, I have built software, designed platforms, led engineering teams and helped organizations navigate the space between today’s constraints and tomorrow’s ambitions.
I currently lead software architecture for a global SaaS organization. My journey also includes technology leadership at Grupo Boticário and Softplan, spanning retail, public-sector platforms and internationally distributed products.
My work connects software architecture, cloud, data, performance, engineering governance and responsible AI adoption—always grounded in business outcomes and the people who need to deliver them.
